Come learn all about invasive plants and how to manage them! Invasive species are non-native plants, animals or insects that can cause damage to our local environment, economy, or to human health.

At the Thorn Preserve, we will be focusing on invasive plants common to the Woodstock area. We will be highlighting best management strategies that can help to reduce these plants’ populations in your backyard.

Organizations and agencies represented at this event include the Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership, and the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development.
