Nicole McShane joined the Catskill Center in February 2011. As the Catskill Centers' Stream Specialist she can be found in waterways throughout the Catskills collecting water quality data with school groups, conducting teacher trainings, or working with diverse groups of stakeholders to protect riparian areas. Nicole grew up in Greene County and received a bachelors of science degree in Conservation Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry. She enjoys spending free time outdoors with her husband while fishing, hunting, and canoeing.
