A Visual and Audio History of Quilts

The Catskill Center has a long history with quilting. The Catskill Mountain Quilters meet every Monday at the Catskill Center and in 2014, we partnered with the Catskill Mountain Quilters Hall of Fame and became its permanent home. Stop by the Catskill Center (open M-F, 9am – 4pm) to see the Catskill Mountain Hall of Fame Plaques which depict Hall of Fame quilters from the 1980’s to today. To learn more about the rich history of quilting in the Catskills, listen to some of our recently re-mastered audio recordings of Catskill’s quilting history. Links to the recordings can be found at the bottom of our Arts and Culture page or by clicking here.
