Green Connections 2012 Kickoff

The Catskill Center's 2012 season of Green Connections began yesterday with a kickoff meeting! Upstate and downstate school teachers met their partners and began planning the programs that they will undertake this spring. Green Connections is a program that links New York City schools with partners in the West-of-Hudson Watershed.  Together, the students learn about the water supply generated upstate that provides clean drinking water to New York City residents.  This program is made possible by funding through the Watershed Agricultural Council (WAC) and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP). For more information on Green Connections visit our homepage and click our Catskill Center Tab--> Programs --> Education --> Green Connections.
