Welcome to the new Catskill Center Web site

Welcome to all friends of the Catskill Center!

On Friday, June 4th, the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development launched our new web site and our volunteers and staff couldn’t be more excited.

We’re proud of the new look, the expanded content, the user-friendly menu, and the communication opportunities available have the potential to make the web site our most efficient tool for communicating to the public and helping the public communicate to us.

The Catskill Center is now reaching out to everyone who has an interest in our activity with the use of our new Blog.  We will post blogs regularly on all issues Catskill Center and encourage you to respond and provide the insights that are such an important part of our ability to serve the communities of the entire Catskill Region and beyond. We hope the blog will see a high volume of use from a large number of participants.

Look to the Catskill Center Events Calendar on the Home Page to learn about Catskill Center activity.  Whether it’s a meeting, an education program, a hike or field program, or a community event that we are participating in, it will be on the Events Calendar.

The Catskill Center even has a Twitter account. We will send Tweets, yes Catskill Center Tweets,  with information on activity that our members will want to be a part of. This can be a useful tool, especially for issues that require immediate action, please join us.

There’s lots of exploring to be done here. We will be updating content pretty aggressively, so please continue to check back regularly.
