New Staff at the Catskill Center

Arkville, NY – The Catskill Center is pleased to announce that Jonathan Mogelever has joined the organization as executive assistant, supporting executive director Jeff Senterman. Jonathan is a resident of the Catskills and has been deeply involved in work to enhance the region for years. “We’re very pleased to have Jonathan joining our staff as we continue to build organizational capacity to more effectively lead the region. Together we’ll be able to continue to collaborate, inspire and steward the Catskills with even more impact,” says Jeff Senterman, executive director.

About Jonathan Mogelever

Jonathan returned to the Catskill Center in February 2017 as Executive Assistant. From 2010 through 2014, he was the Membership and Outreach Coordinator for the Catskill Center and this experience in communications, development, and community and fundraising events will go a long way toward ensuring a smooth transition into his new role. He looks forward to working with all the partnering organizations, volunteers, and staff affiliated with the Catskill Center.

Jonathan previously worked in development with the Adirondack Mountain Club, the Orange County Land Trust, and most recently with the Western Catskills Community Revitalization Council. He received a Master of Professional Studies in Community Services Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Alfred University.

Jonathan has lived in the mountain communities of Big Sky Montana, Mount Hood Oregon, Lake Placid New York, and Oslo Norway. He is an avid hiker and cross country skier. He has enjoyed the trails and communities in the Catskill Mountains his entire life and now lives in Grand Gorge, NY.
