Catskill Center Welcomes Three New Staff Members

August 12, 2021 -- Arkville, NY:  The Catskill Center welcomes two new full-time staff members to the development side of the organization. Dean Klingler is a seasoned nonprofit fundraising and marketing professional who steps into the newly created role of Donor Relations Manager. Danielle Tucker joins as Annual Giving Manager, also a new position.

“I find it very rewarding to be able to expand the capacity of the Catskill Center to help fulfill its mission. Danielle and Dean each bring unique perspectives and skills to help strengthen the ability of the Catskill Center to grow the resources necessary to protect and preserve the Catskills,” said Catskill Center Executive Director Jeff Senterman.

Dean looks forward to advancing the mission of the Catskill Center by fostering long-term relationships with a diverse and engaged community of supporters. He believes the vital work of the Catskill Center will inspire a new generation of donors to help ensure a sustainable future for the Catskills.

Danielle will be generating additional funding by cultivating membership through the annual giving program. Both have experience in and will be responsible for planning and executing fundraising-related events.

Dean is now a full-time Bearsville, Ulster County resident who most recently worked for MacDowell, a preeminent artist residency program. Danielle, a Catskills native, resides in East Meredith, Delaware County. She joins the Catskill Center after having worked at a local community action agency.

In addition, the Catskill Center welcomes Susan Wixon of Fleischmanns to the team. Susan will serve as a part-time Human Resources Coordinator.

Including Dean, Danielle and Susan, the Catskill Center has brought on four new staff members this year, separate from its seasonal hires of Catskill stewards, invasive species technicians, and summer staff at its Catskills Visitor Center.
