As part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble, join us for an exploration of the Thorn Preserve. At this family event, we’ll walk the grounds and learn about different habitats. We’ll play games that allow us to interact with one another and gain a better understanding of why habitat is important to animals.
This program will be led by Matt Helffrich, 4-H Educator in Ulster County and longtime outdoor enthusiast.
The Thorn Preserve is flat open meadow. Wear a sun hat, sunscreen and bring bug spray. The event will take place in shine or rain - but will be cancelled in the event of heavy and steady rain.
Advance registration is required.
