What: Come to the Thorn Preserve to get a hands-on perspective on common invasive plants! Learn best management and disposal practices for the highly invasive Japanese knotweed, as we all work together to stop the spread of this invasive plant on the property. We’ll also be talking about Japanese barberry, oriental bittersweet, and much more!

Plan to get dirty! Bring long pants, long sleeves, a water bottle and a hat. Water, sun screen and bug spray will be provided on-site.

Where: The Thorn Preserve at 55 John Joy Road in Woodstock NY
