Catskills Art Club at the Catskills Visitor Center

  • Congressman Maurice D. Hinchey Catskills Visitor Center 5096 New York 28 Mount Tremper, NY, 12457 United States (map)

Get ready to get creative! The Catskills Art Club is a fun, free way to explore the Catskills, meet new friends, and make some amazing art. We meet at a different location each month to draw, paint, sketch, or sculpt what we see around us. There are no workshops or formal lessons at Catskills Art Club meetups, just a casual get-together of people who want to create and chat. The Catskills Art Club is open to all ages, so you can bring the entire family (minors must be accompanied by an adult). People of all artistic experience and ability are welcome. There is no commitment, no fees, and no pressure to share your work--just come and have fun. Bring your favorite art supplies and get inspired.

The May meet-up will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 10am-12 pm at the I Love My Park Day celebrations at the Catskills Visitor Center in Mount Tremper. Draw the CIC property or take a stroll down across the street to the Esopus Creek fishing access.

Catskills Art Club is a program of the Catskill Center for Conservation and Development. For more information, visit www.CatskillCenter.org, email Kelli Huggins at khuggins@catskillcenter.org or call the Catskills Visitor Center at 845-688-3369.
