Popcorn and a Show!

  • Congressman Maurice D. Hinchey Catskills Visitor Center 5096 State Route 28 Mount Tremper, NY 12457 US (map)

Two great performers. Hours of family-friendly fun! Come enjoy back-to-back shows under our pavilion. Bring a picnic and snack on popcorn we provide. Free and open to all.

At 1pm, Steve “The Dirtmeister” Tomecek will amaze with his Wet and Wild Science Show. You’ll have so much fun you won’t even realize you’re learning! The Dirtmeister is a geologist, science educator, and author of children’s books for National Geographic.

At 2pm, Jim Keyes will take us back in time to the Colonial era with ballads, dance tunes and game songs on reproduction instruments from the time. You’ll definitely find yourself dancing and singing along. Jim is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, educator, author, and voiceover artist.
