What better way to celebrate Invasive Species Awareness Week than getting hip deep in some mud and pulling invasive European Frog-bit?
Come Join CRISP and the Otsego County Conservation Association in keeping European Frog-bit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae) out of beautiful Otsego Lake! Clarke Pond is a direct tributary to Otsego Lake and has seen some minor infestations of frog-bit these past few years. We aim to survey for frog-bit in Clarke Pond and remove it where found. All equipment will be provided, just bring your best mud clothes and a lunch.
Please register below and let us know you’re coming! We can provide water shoes if needed as well, just let us know what size you need.
