Join us for a uniquely local dining experience at the Catskills Visitor Center in Mt. Tremper, NY, on July 12. This multiple-course feast, creatively conceived and prepared by Chef Rob Handel, will feature locally farmed and wild foraged ingredients from across the Catskills. Indulge in the rich, natural flavors of the region with each thoughtfully crafted dish surrounded by the beauty of the Catskills under our outdoor picnic pavilion.

Chanterelle Mushroom Pate: Catskills foraged chanterelle mushrooms and fresh herbs (vegetarian, gluten free available)
Wild Grape Dolmas: wild grape leaves stuffed with rice, stinging nettle, and pine nuts (vegan, gluten free)
Sesame Crusted Feta: pan fried and topped with spruce cone honey (vegetarian, gluten free)
Salad
Summer Corn Salad: Story’s Farm sweet corn with heirloom tomatoes, fried shallot, staghorn sumac vinegar, and wild thyme oil (vegan, gluten free)
Entree
Grilled Trout: Catskills trout, grilled over hardwoods and charcoal and topped with wild ramp butter and milkweed capers. Served with grilled summer vegetables and rice pilaf (gluten free)
Grilled Vegetable Tagine: Story’s Farm squash, peppers, beans, and tomatoes, served alongside rice pilaf (vegetarian option)
Dessert
Homemade Ice Cream: Black locust blossom ice cream, served with almond shortbread and fresh peaches (gluten free available)
Guests are encouraged to arrive at 6:30pm to enjoy beer and wine. Dinner will begin promptly at 7:00pm, so we ask that you please arrive no later than 6:45pm to ensure all guests are able to enjoy the full experience.
