The Catskill Center is thrilled to partner with NYSDEC and NYSParks to celebrate Get Outdoors & Get Together Day, a statewide event that welcomes people of all abilities, ages, identities, and backgrounds to enjoy the outdoors together.
Join us on Saturday, June 14th from 12-3 PM at the Catskills Visitor Center for a day full of fun, inclusive, and healthful activities — including archery (with adaptive equipment available), a field drawing workshop, and much more!

• 2:00 PM – Sister Rain and Brother Sun Puppet Show
No registration is required to attend this event, but we kindly ask that you sign up for a time slot if you’d like to participate in archery.
Get Outdoors & Get Together Day was created by DEC and State Parks, in partnership with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), NYS Department of Veterans’ Services, Office of the Chief Disability Officer, Office of Mental Health, and the NYS Justice Center. This event is part of the Governor’s initiative to make New York’s public lands more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
