Join Moe Lemire—NYS licensed guide and founder of Hike On Guides—for an immersive 8-mile hike through the heart of the Catskills along The Neversink. This unique hike offers a rare opportunity to witness a pristine creek untouched by human impact.

As we explore, we'll discuss the ecological importance of healthy riparian buffers and observe the rare presence of First Growth Forest stretching all the way to the water's edge. We'll also take time to reflect on the visible effects of hikers and campers who do not follow Leave No Trace principles— and what we can do to protect these sensitive areas.

We will meet at the Denning Road Trailhead parking lot at 10:00 AM. Bring plenty of water, lunch, snacks, sturdy footwear, trekking poles, and non-cotton layers. (A detailed pack list will be shared as the hike approaches.)
