Join Catskill Steward Cris for a guided hike through one of the most iconic and historic areas of the Catskills

This guided hike is part of our month-long peer to peer fundraising event, Hike for the Catskills. This hike-a-thon-style fundraising event promotes an appreciation for the outdoors while raising funds to support the Catskill Center’s mission to protect and preserve the Catskills. Hike Description:

We’ll start at the Laurel House parking lot and make our way to Kaaterskill Falls, then continue on to explore scenic landmarks including the site of the former Catskill Mountain House and the beautiful North-South Lake area.

Date & Time: Tuesday, August 9th, 9:45 am - 3:30 pm

Difficulty: Intermediate, ~ 6 mile loop, 1,387 ft elevation gain

Equipment/Gear: Plenty of water, proper footwear for hiking, sun & insect protection, and snacks or lunch (remember—pack it in, pack it out!)
