Kevin has twice been an artist-in-residence at the Platte Clove Cottage.
In 2012, he focused on the surrounding landscape and captured color digital images.
In 2015, Kevin meditated on his memories of his mother, who had shared with him a strong reverence for nature and was the first to take him to the Catskill mountains.
This exhibit explores both bodies of work. Color C-prints of Plattekill Clove and the surrounding region are juxtaposed with wet plate tintypes of Kevin’s mother’s most precious objects.
