Catskill Interpretive Center

Construction began last fall and steadily continues. The Maurice D. Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center is named in honor of the retired US Congressman who initiated and enthusiastically supported the development of the Interpretive Center for over three decades.

Located on a 62 acre site on Route 28 in Mount Tremper, the Interpretive Center will be the first information center dedicated to the Catskill Park. It will serve as a “gateway” for tourists and residents alike providing comprehensive information on the Catskill region.

The Center is slated to open summer 2015.

If you’re interested in volunteering at the Catskill Interpretive Center please contact Michael Drillinger at mdrillinger@catskillcenter.org.
