Cooperative Extension Delaware County (in cooperation with the Watershed Agricultural Council) offers MaMA - an innovative approach that provides hope for conserving ash and mitigating damage from the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), which threatens to kill virtually all the ash trees in the area. Training includes instruction in MaMA’s citizen-science and land-manager projects to find EAB-resistant trees. 1/2 a credit for New York Logger Training continuing education is awarded for participation. To register, email Carla Hegeman Crim at ceh27@cornell.edu or call 607-865-6531.
