Two invasive insects have been surveyed near the Town of Colchester - the Emerald Ash Borer and the Hemlock Woolly Adelgide. Both of these insects have high destructive potential over relatively short time frames, making control and management a high priority early in their infestations.
Join Dan Snider, Field Projects Manager for the Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership, for a presentation of these pests' potential impacts, as well as an overview of best practices in managing infestations and damage mitigation on your property. The presentation will be held at the Town of Colchester's town meeting on March 17th, at 7 pm.
