Join us for an exploration and celebration of biodiversity.

Learn about and document as many species as possible at the Thorn Preserve. Expert-led walks focusing on a particular topic will be happening all day.

If you would like to volunteer as a citizen scientist, to help experts take down data about the species they find, please contact Dan Snider at dsnider@catskillcenter.org

Link to the 2019 BioBlitz Schedule - The times given are start times only.  A walk leader and participants can stay in the field as long as desired.  Participants will not be able to go on all the walks but should choose the ones of most interest and plan to stay on that walk.

The Thorn Preserve BioBlitz is an annual event hosted by the Catskill Center and the Woodstock Land Conservancy.
