GET READY TO FIND YOUR NEXT GREAT CATSKILLS READ.

To select 50 people and groups to profile as a representative sample of the good work being done in the Catskills currently is an unenviable task. Yet still, Natural Resources: 50 Stewards of the Catskills manages to do just that. Produced during the Catskill Center’s 50th anniversary in 2019, Natural Resources is a love letter to the Catskills. In this interview, we’ll hear from Heather Phelps-Lipton, Catskill Center’s Director of Communications and the photographer for Natural Resources, as she tells us about the project and how she so vividly captured the individuality of each of the stewards.

Natural Resources: 50 Stewards of the Catskills is available in the shop and at the Catskills Visitor Center.
